Job summary

Eco Turnkey Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) industry. You will perform structural analysis, optimize designs, prepare calculations, GA drawings, and coordinate with detailing, production and project teams to deliver cost-efficient PEB solutions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with experience in the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) industry. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design optimization, preparation of design calculations, proposal

drawings, and coordination with detailing, production, and project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution. The role requires expertise in steel structure design as per applicable Indian and international

standards.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Design & Analysis

• Perform analysis and design of PEB structures using STAAD Pro, MBS, or equivalent design software.
• Design primary and secondary steel members including:
• Portal Frames
• Crane Buildings
• Mezzanine Floors
• Lean-To Structures
• Canopies
• Gantry Girders
• Multi-storey Steel Buildings
• Optimize steel tonnage while maintaining structural safety and project requirements.
• Prepare design calculations and engineering reports.

Engineering Documentation

• Prepare proposal drawings and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Develop Anchor Bolt Plans and Foundation Reactions.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) for primary and secondary members.
• Review and approve fabrication and erection drawings.

Design Coordination

• Coordinate with detailing, estimation, production, procurement, and project execution teams.
• Resolve technical queries raised during detailing, fabrication, and erection stages.
• Participate in client discussions for technical clarifications and design approvals.

Code Compliance

• Ensure designs comply with:
• IS 800:2007
• IS 875 (Wind & Live Loads)
• IS 811
• MBMA Guidelines
• Other applicable steel design standards
• Maintain documentation for design audits and quality checks.

Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement design standardization practices.
• Improve design efficiency through value engineering.
• Support automation initiatives in the design process.
