We are hiring a Production Engineer to run day-to-day manufacturing across our CNC/conventional machining, heavy fabrication, and rubber moulding operations, ensuring every component is produced to OEM drawing and specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production across CNC/conventional machining, fabrication, and rubber moulding lines to meet order and delivery commitments
  • Ensure components are manufactured strictly per OEM drawings, tolerances, and material specifications (multi-brand wind turbine platforms, 225 KW2 MW range)
  • Supervise machine operators and shop-floor manpower across shifts; optimize machine and mould utilization
  • Coordinate with the tool room on mould/fixture readiness, tooling wear, and new tool trials for rubber moulded components
  • Work with the design/engineering team to interpret customer specifications before production runs, especially for import-substitution and custom-built parts
  • Monitor raw material and consumable flow with stores/procurement to avoid production delays
  • Drive process improvements (cycle time, rejection reduction, cost-out) using lean manufacturing and 5S principles
  • Troubleshoot machine, mould, and fabrication process issues; coordinate with maintenance for fast breakdown resolution
  • Work closely with Quality to resolve in-process rejections and implement corrective actions before parts move downstream
  • Maintain production records, shift reports, and update status in ERP
  • Ensure safety compliance and housekeeping standards are followed across the shop floor
  • Support trial runs, first-article production, and process validation for new components or new OEM approvals
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in a machining, fabrication, or rubber moulding (injection/compression/transfer) environment wind energy, auto ancillary, or heavy engineering background preferred
  • Working knowledge of CNC/VMC operations, fabrication processes, or rubber-to-metal bonding is a strong plus
  • Comfortable reading engineering drawings and working to tight OEM tolerances
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, and basic root-cause/corrective-action methods
  • Familiarity with ERP-based production tracking
  • Strong shop-floor supervision and cross-functional coordination skills
