Production Design Engineer in Mumbai is a hands-on role requiring 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing processes and shop-floor coordination. You will design, model and document components and processes using SolidWorks and AutoCAD, while coordinating with production teams to ensure manufacturability.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components and products.
• Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare BOMs, fabrication drawings, and production drawings.
• Coordinate with the production and shop-floor teams.
• Support CNC/VMC machining, laser cutting, bending, welding, and fabrication activities.
• Develop prototypes and implement design changes based on production needs.
• Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• Ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Support dimensional inspection and quality control activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required.
• Improve production processes, designs and product quality.

Production Design Engineer Location: Mumbai Experience: 2–5 Years Accommodation: Provided Job Summary We are looking for a Production Design Engineer who can manage both Mechanical Design and Production activities. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and shop‑floor coordination.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

• CNC lathe: 2 years (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and products.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, bending, and welding.
• Understanding of BOM preparation and production drawings.
• Good problem‑solving and shop‑floor coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for both design and production activities.

Preferred Candidate
