Job summary

Continental Device India (CDIL) seeks a capable engineer to lead new product development from customer requirements to production release within the EMS sector. You will collaborate with R&D, Purchase, Marketing, Manufacturing and Sales to design robust production processes, perform feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost analyses, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/BE in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in EMS.
• Experience leading NPD from customer requirements to production release.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from customer requirements to production release.
• Collaborate with R&D, Purchase, Marketing, Manufacturing and Sales.
• Design and develop production processes meeting customer requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost analyses for new products.
• Create and maintain documentation including specifications, test plans and reports.
• Perform prototype development, testing and validation.
• Develop jigs and fixtures for production standardization, ICT and FCT.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including post-launch.
• Conduct customer visits as required.

Role & responsibilities

To lead the process of new product development starting form the

customer Requirement to the Production release.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Purchase,

marketing, manufacturing and sales.

Design and develop Production Process that meets customer

requirements and industry standards.

Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost analysis for new

products.

Create and maintain detailed documentation including specifications,

test plans, and reports.

Perform prototype development, testing, and validation.

Development of Jig, fixtures for Production standardization, ICT and

FCT.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and quality

standards.

Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including

post-launch.

Customer Visits as per requirement.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates must be B.tech/BE (ECE) with 3 to 8 years of experience in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) Industry,
