American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Product Testing & Release Analyst for the Supply MarketPlace in Bangalore, India. The role involves shaping test plans, coordinating cross-functional testing, and ensuring successful releases across POS tools and connected applications.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Supply R&D, and vendors to ensure features meet requirements, manage risks, and maintain release documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project-specific testing per priorities by Project and Product Teams.
• Drive functional and business testing to ensure access to correct content and inventory.
• Perform POS and downstream integration testing on all country applications.
• Collaborate with Product Management to ensure features fit for purpose and manage risks.
• Design test plans based on business processes and scenarios with acceptance criteria.
• Identify suitable test data and testing tools for use.
• Lead testing bug triage and assign priorities to protect timelines.
• Assist with risk management and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule and quality.
• Maintain a release repository including build and release procedures, dependencies, and notifications.
• Ensure POS tools and applications connected to SMP are certified and ready for new features.
• Document feature acceptance or rejection by POS Tool and Application, with sign-off date.
• Keep Supply Product Management informed of upcoming releases.
• Coordinate with Supply R&D and Product to ensure feature development per specifications and stable test environments.
• Coordinate with vendors and other parties powering POS tools to ensure certification of changes and dependencies.
• Support SMP Product by ensuring readiness to offer support on new features.
• Coordinate with 3rd party GDS and Non-GDS connectors for issue escalations and operational management.

Product Testing & Release Analyst, Supply MarketPlace

What You’ll Do

• Assist in project specific testing (e.g., SMP Hotel Expansion) per priorities and requirements assigned by the Project and Product Teams.


• Drive functional and business testing to ensure SMP has access to the right content and inventory.


• Perform Point of Sale and downstream integration testing on all applications and system processes available in a country.


• Work with Product Management to ensure the feature is fit for purpose and work with them to identify and manage risks & issues.


• Design a test plan based on business processes & scenarios with acceptance criteria.


• Identification of suitable test data and testing tools to be used during testing.


• Lead a testing bug triage process, assigning the right priority on issues, ensuring all teams works on the highest priority items to ensure timelines are not impacted.


• Assist with risk management and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.


• Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.


• Ensure Point of Sale Tools and Applications connected to the GBT Supply MarketPlace Platform are routinely certified and ready to adopt all new features.


• Document by Point of Sale Tool and Application, acceptance or not of features, in addition to date of sign-off and successful implementation.


• Supply Product Management to ensure full awareness of the to be released features.


• Supply R&D Teams in collaboration with Product to ensure all features have been developed per original specifications and for the stability of test environments.


• Vendors & other parties powering PoS Tools & Applications connected to the GBT Supply MarketPlace Platform to ensure certification of all changes and awareness of any channel specific dependencies affecting rollout.


• SMP Product Support to ensure their awareness and readiness to offer support on new features – as needed.


• 3rd party GDS & Non-GDS Connectors to ensure timely resolution on issue escalations to their technical teams and an excellent operational management.
