Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel in Bangalore, India, is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead testing of .NET web and desktop apps hosted on cloud. You will design test plans, automate scripts, and coordinate testing across teams to ensure high quality releases.

The role requires 5+ years in .NET testing, proficiency with Selenium, SOAPUI, Postman, and JMETER, and strong Agile experience. Familiarity with cloud native apps (Azure) and AI toolkits is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium .NET, SOAPUI, Postman, JMETER.
• Proficient with testing of .NET Web and Window applications on cloud.
• Experience in test management, automation, planning and execution.
• Minimum 5+ years in .NET testing.
• Experience with AI development toolkits like Claude, Co-Pilot.
• Knowledge of test design patterns and methodologies.
• Experience with .NET stack and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of cloud native apps and Azure.
• Ability to track & manage project tasks and deliverables to closure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication; Agile experience.
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, ITIL or service management, travel industry knowledge

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed٫ comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Review requirements٫ specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Build and execute automation scripts using GBT approved tool set
• Organize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Review debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics٫ like defect densities and open defect counts
• Analyze the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Maintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced with Selenium with .NET, SOAPUI, Postman, JMETER tools
• Proficient with testing of .NET Web and Window application hosted on cloud environment
• Good working experience in test management, automation, planning and execution
• At least 5+ years and experience as a .NET technology and application testing
• Experienced in AI development toolkit like Claude, Co-Pilot etc.
• Knowledge of various test design patterns
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and methodologies
• Experienced with .NET tech stack and SQL Server
• Knowledge of cloud native applications and development practices (Azure preferable)
• Ability to track & manage project tasks and deliverables to successful closure
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and/or experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline
• ITIL or other service management frameworks
• Knowledge of travel industry and travel related technologies
