Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using Python and SQL.
• Categorize, cleanse and normalize datasets via data pipelines; generate reports and summaries.
• Perform data transformations using Python; ensure code is reusable, testable, and efficient.
• Write unit tests and debug effectively to ensure data quality.
• Create database schemas that support business processes and analytics.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions.
• Clarify project scope, deliverables, and end-user objectives; manage progress and plans.
• Maintain detailed project plans and track progress.

Travel:

Acies is a global organization with clients and business interests across geographies. Travel for both short and long-term is expected for most roles. Specific requirements of travel for this role are as follows:

• Long-term travel (6-12 months a year) expected: No
• Short-term travel (Less than 4 months a year) expected: Yes
• Travel expected outside country of base location: No
• Relocation expectations to another country/ city: No

Travel is dependent on nature and location of projects as well as the role of specific people on the project. Accordingly, travel requirements may change from time to time.

Key responsibility areas:

• Extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Python and SQL.
• Categorizing, cleansing and normalizing of datasets via optimal data pipelines that generate exception reports, data summary etc.
• Performing data transformations on datasets using Python as coding technology.
• Expert in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code on Python.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Creation of database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Function as integrators between business needs and technology solutions.
• Understanding and agreeing on project scopes, deliverables, end-users, objectives and outcomes.
• Maintaining and tracking detailed project plans and progress.

• Adherence to project delivery timelines
• Quality of delivery – timeliness of updates, prompt follow ups, escalations etc.

• Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
• Period of engagement: Full-time position
• Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.
• Performance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion
• Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement.
