The role requires a Diploma or degree in electrical & electronics, 3–6 years of experience, knowledge of QMS, DFMEA/PFMEA, and SAP S/4HANA Quality Module; Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a plus.

  • Knowledge of QMS and Auditing; DFMEA/PFMEA; MSA; SAP S/4HANA Quality Module; PPAP.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and manages quality control and facility resources for effective inspection before release.
  • Develops and implements QC procedures, sampling plans, and test protocols.
  • Ensures QC processes are tailored to product requirements.
  • Analyzes units for repair, documents trends, and drives corrective actions.
  • Maintains the quality management system documentation and inspection reports.
  • Maintains Quality Inspection plans in ERP and uses data tools for insights.
  • Develops standardized QC procedures with CtQ-based test methods and risk considerations.
  • Supports PPAP through First Article testing and inspection plan alignment.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve quality issues and deviations.

Job description

Mission Statement:

Deploys and administers the product inspection processes for factory output ensuring product compliance to specification. Conducts detailed inspections and tests, utilizing various measurement tools and techniques, to assess the conformity of incoming materials. Identifies and documents any non-conformities or deviations from quality requirements and collaborates with cross-functional teams to initiate non-conformance management process.

Your responsibilities:
  • Establishes and manages the product quality control and facility, ensuring the availability of necessary resources, equipment, and processes for effective inspection and verification of incoming goods before their release to the Finished Goods.
  • Develops and implements comprehensive quality control procedures, including detailed inspection plans, appropriate sampling methods, and reliable test protocols.
  • Ensures the implementation of specific product quality inspection processes for each operation, tailored to the unique requirements and characteristics of the products being manufactured.
  • Conducts preliminary analysis of the units coming for repair, document and monitor the trend and drive corrective actions.
  • Participates maintaining the established quality management system to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation of incoming quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and material disposition records.
  • Ensures definition of Quality Inspection plans and their maintenance in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) System. Utilizes quality management systems and data analysis tools to generate actionable insights to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develops and implements standardized quality control procedures, including sampling plans, inspection criteria, and test methods. Defines test methods with their acceptance criteria based on the critical to quality (CtQ) inputs from R&D, and considering the risk identified at design phase (e.g DFMEA) and the risk identified at supplier manufacturing processes.
  • Supports PPAP process, by contributing to the testing of the First Articles and development of inspection plans for part approval. Ensures the alignment between inspection plans and measurement capabilities. Verifies supply compliance with relevant industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and suppliers to address and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications related to products.

Your background:
  • Candidate should hold a Diploma / bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics background with relevant work experience (3- 6yrs).
  • Having Lean six Sigma, Yellow Belt background is added advantage.
  • Candidate should have knowledge in following skill sets, Quality Management Systems and Auditing; Technical Drawing & Inspection provision Interpretation Measurement System Analysis; Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA and PFMEA); SAP S/4 HANA Quality Module Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
