Job summary

Cytiva in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced Product/Project Manager to lead large cross-functional projects from concept to customer handover. The role requires coordinating engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality and service across a global life sciences portfolio.

You will drive scope, schedule, cost and risk while ensuring GMP and safety compliance, and you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager within Custom Engineering. On-site in Pune.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment or capital projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• ERP experience such as Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects/programs; define scope, objectives, deliverables; develop plans, schedules, budgets and resources; drive execution from initiation to closure.
• Interface with customers, engineering, operations, supply chain and leadership; conduct project reviews; manage communications. Work with Mechanical, Electrical & Controls, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and Service teams.
• Track milestones, budgets, forecasts and risks to maintain delivery commitments.
• Maintain risk registers, contingency plans and change-control processes. Manage FAT and SAT and handle customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP, safety and DBS continuous improvement practices.

The Product/Project Manager is responsible for responsible for leading large and complex projects or programs from concept through execution and customer handover. The role ensures delivery of scope, schedule, quality, cost, and customer requirements while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and service functions.

This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What will you do:
