Job summary

Tripstack is seeking a Product Owner for Virtual Interline (VI). You will work with Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content Acquisition to translate business objectives into clear execution plans. You will deepen VI expertise, assess market opportunities, and ensure scalability to meet rising demand and new opportunities.

Role available remotely or from Pune (India) or Krakow (Poland). Strong cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making are essential as you help

• Experience in the travel industry with OTAs, airline distribution, GDS, NDC or airline APIs.
• Strong business acumen to translate market trends into product opportunities.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into product deliverables.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills for multiple initiatives.
• Experience supporting R&D initiatives and data-backed experimentation (A/B testing).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Manager, Product to translate objectives into actionable delivery plans.
• Contribute to the vision and strategic direction for Virtual Interline by market analysis and data insights.
• Understand VI architecture and its interaction with other platform components.
• Support R&D initiatives and A/B testing to optimize the product.
• Translate requirements into EPICs, user stories, and delivery priorities.
• Maintain backlog, manage dependencies, risks, and timely delivery.

The role
Virtual Interline (VI) is Tripstack's core product, connecting non-partner airlines to unlock new itineraries and drive incremental revenue for carriers and distribution partners worldwide.
As a Product Owner for Virtual Interline, you will report to the Senior Manager, Product and play a key role in the evolution of the product. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Content Acquisition teams to translate business objectives into clear execution plans.
You will contribute to the ongoing product vision and help achieve business goals by developing deep expertise in the VI platform, understanding the market, and ensuring that the product is capable of supporting increasing demand, and new business opportunities.
This role is central to supporting Tripstack's continued Virtual Interline growth.
This role can be based remotely or from one of our offices in Krakow (Poland) or Pune (India).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Manager, Product responsible for Virtual Interline to execute the roadmap and translate high-level objectives into actionable delivery plans.
• Contribute to the vision and strategic direction for Virtual Interline by identifying opportunities, analyzing the market and competitors, and providing data-driven recommendations.
• Understand the architecture of Virtual Interline and how it interacts with other products and parts of the platform.
• Support R&D initiatives and A/B testing to optimize our Virtual Interlining product.
• Forge strong relationships with key external partners and internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear EPICs, user stories and delivery priorities, acting as the product SME throughout planning and delivery.
• Keep internal technical teams accountable for quality output and timely delivery.
• Monitor and track platform KPIs related to system health, integration stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog while balancing platform stability, scalability, and feature delivery.
• Coordinate across teams to manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously review processes and workflows, applying root-cause thinking to identify operational gaps and improve efficiency.
• Collect and analyze information, solve complex problems rationally, and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the travel industry, particularly with OTAs, airline distribution, GDS, NDC, LCC or airline APIs, is strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand market trends, competition, and business objectives and translate them into product opportunities.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into product deliverables.
• Strong technical experience, with the ability to work closely with APIs, analyze data, understand technical systems and integrations, and collaborate effectively with Engineering.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to think beyond day-to-day execution and contribute meaningfully to longer-term product vision and roadmap.
• Experience supporting R&D initiatives and data-backed experimentation, such as A/B testing.
• Understanding of cost economics and financial trade-offs in product decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
• Passion for process improvement, operational excellence, and scalable platform design.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
