Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru seeks an experienced telecom infra engineer to join the Video Conferencing & Unified Communications domain. You will support global telephony infrastructure, handle Oracle SBC/ECB configurations, and ensure 24x7 availability with on-call rotations.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of SIP/RTP, networking basics, and strong incident management in a banking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SBC and ECB administration.
• Experience with IP telephony and voice protocols.
• Familiarity with Wireshark and monitoring tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot down to packet level.

Responsibilities

This profile will be part of Video Conferencing & Communication Services [ VCS] part of UCS [ Unified Communication services] BL.

He/She will be working primarily on Telephony infra managing Oracle ECB, SBC and other integration to it. Job Role is to support global infra 24x7 and on call over the weekends.

Apart from managing the infrastructure he/she will be working on global project deliverables, new site commission/decommissions.

Profile required

• Very good understanding of Oracle SBC, ECB and administration experience on Voice protocols. Troubleshooting skills on Oracle SBC/ ECB
• Basic knowledge of Network and Security platform.
• Strong experience on IP telephony and it's monitoring tools.
• Work experience on - Configuration of Oracle SBC / ECB, Wireshark tool, Oracle EOM
• Protocol Knowledge : SIP ,RTP ,TDM, ISDN ,UDP ,TCP ,TLS ,SNMP ,Radius ,LDAP ,DHCP ,DNS and HTTPS
• Expert troubleshooting techniques in networking down to packet level analysis.
• Good understanding on SIP RFC 3261
• DHCP, DNS, Wins, Active Directory knowledge is a must.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to operate effectively within a high-governance banking environment.
• Candidate must perform consistently with strict adherence to all internal standards for incident management, change management and Problem management.
• Ability to maintain appropriate level of communication on projects/tasks with peers
• Good business understanding and attention to detail and must be able to adapt to agile way of work.
• Ability to promote cooperation and recognition of contributions to collective efforts
• Should be flexible to work in shifts"
