Job summary

JOBTAILOR in Hyderabad is seeking a Product Owner / Agile lead to drive product development areas using Agile principles, manage and refine the team backlogs based on business value, and prioritize work across programs.

You will act as customer proxy among business owners, stakeholders, end users, and agile teams; evaluate user stories, coordinate PI planning, and mentor junior Product Owners while guiding delivery quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Guidewire Policy Center (cloud) — 4–6 years experience.
• Rally or equivalent WMS — 4–6 years experience.
• Office Suite proficiency — 4–6 years experience.
• Copilot or AI tools — 4–6 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development areas using Agile principles.
• Manage, prioritize, and refine team backlogs based on business value.
• Anticipate and prioritize business needs, manage scope, and oversee development stages.
• Act as customer proxy and liaison among owners, stakeholders, end users, PMs, and Agile teams.
• Evaluate and accept user stories as complete and ensure quality control.
• Coordinate dependencies, sequencing, iteration goals, and delivery execution.
• Lead PO/ART sync meetings, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Drive mitigation of program risks and continuous process improvement.
• Support PI planning, story definition, estimation, sequencing, refinement, review, and execution.
• Communicate requirements and deliverables clearly and negotiate dependencies.
• Partner with Product Managers and business owners on goals, vision, strategy, and roadmap execution.
• Represent business owners’ interests and maximize Agile team capacity.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Product Owners I and II and back up the Product Manager as needed.
