Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an senior Guidewire Engineer in India to own end-to-end technical delivery for PolicyCenter initiatives. You will lead technical design and architecture, perform impact assessments across configurations, integrations, and downstream systems, and mentor teams while driving risk management and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for complex Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives.
• Lead technical design and architecture for complex initiatives.
• Perform impact assessments across product model, configuration, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Partner with Architects on design alternatives.
• Develop and maintain configurations, rules, integrations, and extensions.
• Lead development across multiple workstreams.
• Enforce best practices through code review.
• Act as technical point of contact for assigned domains.
• Drive estimation, planning, and risk management.
• Mentor developers, vendor resources, and engineers.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex production incidents.
• Drive monitoring and performance improvements.
• Ensure logging, observability, and resilience standards are met.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and challenge gaps.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to leadership.
