Qualifications

Product Manager - Retail (Data & ERP)

Location: Bengaluru

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager - Retail (Data & ERP) with 10+ years of experience in the retail domain. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in retail operations, ERP platforms, and data engineering, and will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Data & Integration Platform. This role involves driving product strategy, leading offshore DevOps and L3 support teams, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Retail Domain SME for data, integration, and ERP-related initiatives.
• Define and drive product roadmap for data and integration platforms supporting retail operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Lead offshore DevOps and L3 support teams, ensuring platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive innovation and efficiency across data pipelines, integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to prioritize features and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, integration standards, and best practices.
• Support Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the Retail domain with strong knowledge of retail business processes and operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Strong expertise in Data Engineering, including:
• Databricks
• Apache Spark
• SQL
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and integration architectures.
• Proven experience managing offshore DevOps and L3 Support teams.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated business solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on experience in sprint planning and execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in modern data platforms, cloud-based analytics, and enterprise integrations.
• Exposure to retail merchandising, supply chain, inventory management, pricing, or omnichannel commerce.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Note: We are looking for candidates with a strong blend of Retail Domain expertise, ERP knowledge, and Data Engineering experience. Candidates with only pure Data Engineering or Product Management experience without retail domain exposure may not be a fit for this role.
