Job Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for developing, launching, and scaling educational products aligned with market demand and business objectives. This role involves product strategy, curriculum planning, financial ownership, go‑to‑market execution, and continuous performance optimization.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, strategic, and cross‑functional coordination skills to ensure successful product lifecycle management, profitability, and long‑term growth.
- Identify new product opportunities through market research, student demand analysis, and competitor benchmarking
- Define product vision, positioning, target audience, and value proposition
- Develop and manage product roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
- Conduct feasibility studies and market validation for new program launches
2. Product Design & Development
- Design program structures, curriculum frameworks, duration, and delivery models (Online / Offline / Hybrid)
- Coordinate with Academic Heads, SMEs, Trainers, and Content Teams
- Ensure industry relevance, learner outcomes, and academic quality standards
- Collaborate on certifications, assessments, and practical learning modules
- Develop pricing strategies, revenue models, and cost structures
- Prepare product‑level P&L statements and unit economics analysis
- Monitor product profitability and drive break‑even achievement
- Optimize resource allocation to improve margins and scalability
4. Go‑To‑Market & Product Launch
- Plan and execute product launches in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Operations teams
- Create sales enablement materials including pitch decks, FAQs, brochures, and counselling guides
- Ensure timely product launches with clear milestones and execution plans
- Support branding and campaign strategy for product visibility
5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track KPIs such as enrollments, revenue, CAC, conversion rates, learner feedback, and completion rates
- Analyze product performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Implement corrective actions to improve learner experience and business performance
- Continuously refine pricing, positioning, curriculum, and delivery strategies
6. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the SPOC for all product‑related activities and escalations
- Coordinate between Academics, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams
- Drive accountability and execution discipline across departments
- Present product performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership
7. Product Scaling & Growth
- Scale successful products across branches, clusters, and digital platforms
- Introduce advanced modules, certifications, partnerships, and product enhancements
- Ensure long‑term sustainability and profitability of products
- Explore new revenue opportunities and expansion strategies
Job Qualification & Skills Set:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Education, or related field
- Proven experience in Product Management, Program Management, or EdTech Product Development
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go‑to‑market strategies
- Excellent analytical, financial, and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, reporting dashboards, and analytics tools
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and target‑driven environment
- Understanding of educational products and learner behavior preferred
