Job summary

Sbicap Securities in Mumbai is seeking a product manager to lead the launch and ongoing management of a commodity trading platform, aligning with regulatory developments and derivatives tools.

You will collaborate with business, technology and operations teams to define roadmaps, write BRD and functional specs, and drive testing and UAT to ensure quality.

The role requires strong market knowledge and ability to work with stakeholders to deliver new trading features and enhancements.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and launch commodity trading platform.
• Assist in developing regulatory developments, derivatives tools and products, focusing on commodity trading.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, managing the product roadmap, create business requirement & functional specification document.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure functionality usability and compliance with industry standard.
• Document and resolve defects arising in UAT and production with development teams.
• Perform daily sanity.
• Strong business acumen needed to drive and execute on a product plan

Key Competencies:

• Strong understanding of commodity markets, derivatives products, exchange operations, trading workflows, and market regulations.
• Proven ability to manage product lifecycles, define product roadmaps, gather business requirements, and prepare functional specification documents.
• Experience in driving regulatory enhancements, implementing exchange-mandated changes, and supporting the development of new trading products and features.
• Strong expertise in test planning, UAT execution, defect management, daily sanity testing, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business, technology, operations, and external stakeholders while driving strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives
