Job summary

Cappitech S&P seeks a Specialist, Product Management & Development to own the product life cycle from market analysis to launch within the Product Regulation Team. Translate regulatory requirements into actionable features, coordinating with development and QA to deliver customer-centric solutions.

You will work with internal stakeholders and customers, focusing on risk mitigation and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment while expanding expertise in derivatives regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and precision in regulatory contexts.
• Ability to read and interpret regulatory documentation and guidance.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial markets or fintech.
• Proactive risk identification and mitigation throughout project timelines.
• Experience with derivatives regulatory reporting (JFSA, HKMA, EMIR Refit, ASIC Rewrite, MAS Rewrite).
• Solid understanding of derivatives products such as swaps, options, forwards.
• Experience creating and managing user stories in JIRA and defining requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with development teams and explain complex concepts clearly.
• SQL literacy and data-driven decision making.

Whats in it for you

As the Specialist, Product Management & Development, you will work within the Cappitech Product Regulation Team. You will have full ownership on the product life cycle (market analysis, concept, requirement definition through launch) while interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful launch on new functionalities and continually improving the entire client experience.

Responsibilities

• Activities will include understanding regulatory requirements & translating those requirements into product features and system requirements, collaborating with the development teams and provide training and documentation internally to the Operational teams and externally to Customers.
• Gather and Analyze market requirements and offering
• Define Product requirements from the high-level concept to detailed source mapping and functionality requirements
• Work with the Development and QA team to design and develop the solution to meet the business requirements
• Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of pre-sales activities in order to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications Skill set and Knowledge Must have requirement

• Attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand regulatory documentation
• 3-6 years of experience in financial markets business or fintech
• Proactiveness in Identifying Risks, mitigating Risks and managing Project timeline.
• Previous hands-on experience in Derivatives regulatory reporting such as JFSA, HKMA, EMIR Refit, ASIC Rewrite, MAS Rewrite etc.
• A solid understanding of Derivatives Products such Such Swaps, Options & Forwards
• Building Requirement specifications and well versed with creating user stories in JIRAs
• Problem Solving Skills & Critical thinking abilities
• Prior experience working with Development team
• Ability to reverse engineering
• Stakeholder management
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex or unfamiliar concepts in simple terms.
• Strong interpersonal skills
