Role & responsibilities
Product Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end product development and delivery for a defined digital product stream such as e-commerce, store systems, or service journeys. The role translates business objectives and user needs into high-impact product solutions while ensuring agile delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of digital customer experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Product Planning & Execution
- Own the product backlog for the assigned stream and manage prioritization based on business value, feasibility, and dependencies.
- Drive product development lifecyclefrom discovery and definition to delivery and iterationacross sprints.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure quality execution and release readiness.
- Conduct sprint ceremonies including grooming, planning, demos, and retrospectives with agile squads.
- Ensure product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria are updated and communicated.
2. Customer Experience & User-Centric Design
- Partner with UX and Consumer Insights to identify user needs, friction points, and opportunity areas.
- Create user journeys, personas, and scenarios to shape intuitive and high-conversion digital experiences.
- Validate concepts using MVPs, usability testing, A/B experiments, and customer feedback loops.
- Track adoption, drop-offs, NPS, and other experience KPIs to refine product features.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration & Go-to-Market Readiness
- Work closely with business stakeholders including e-commerce, store ops, ZipCare, and Own Label to align product outcomes with business goals.
- Coordinate with Tech, InfoSec, and Digital Operations to ensure integration, scalability, and system readiness.
- Lead go-live planning, internal rollouts, and communication to ensure adoption across channels.
- Partner with marketing and customer support to ensure new features are promoted and supported effectively.
4. Data-Driven Decision Making & Iteration
- Define product KPIs and build dashboards in collaboration with Analytics teams to monitor performance.
- Use product data to track usage patterns, identify feature gaps, and inform roadmap decisions.
- Regularly analyze competitor products, industry benchmarks, and digital best practices.
- Lead structured post-launch reviews to capture learnings and build into product evolution.
5. Team Support & Product Culture
- Mentor associate product managers or cross-functional contributors within the product stream.
- Drive product thinking, agile discipline, and stakeholder alignment across the pod.
- Contribute to backlog governance, product rituals, and OKR reviews at the vertical level.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, user empathy, and ownership.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Design, or Business; MBA or Product Management certifications preferred
Desired Experience
- 10+ years of experience in digital product management with exposure to agile delivery
