Proxsoft Global is seeking a Junior Product Manager to gain hands-on experience on live software products, from idea research to feature planning and product marketing. You will work directly with the Product Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives across product, technology and development teams in a hybrid Mumbai setting.

Ideal candidates have completed graduation, strong written English, critical thinking and collaborative skills, plus familiarity with Jira, Notion, and basic

Proxsoft Global is a technology and consulting company specializing in ERP solutions, data analytics, business intelligence, and workflow automation. We help businesses strengthen their digital presence and streamline operations through innovative technology solutions.
We build several software products at the same time for construction and finance teams in the US andCanada. Writing the code is not our bottleneck. Keeping every product moving at once is: knowing whatcustomers are saying, deciding what to build next, and doing the groundwork research so each decisionis quick and well informed. You will work directly with the product lead on all of it.

Requirements

• Industry communities. Follow the online communities our customers use around constructionERP, accounting and project-management software (for example the Acumatica, CFMA and PMPcommunities). Track what people are discussing, take part and post on our behalf using the contextwe give you, and bring back ideas and opportunities you spot.
  
• Product backlog in Jira. Learn Jira if you have not used it. Keep feature cards up to date, discussupcoming features with the product lead, and bring your own view on what we should build and why.
  
• Baseline research for new ideas. When a product idea is not the top priority yet, do the first roundof research (using AI tools as well): the options, what others do, and a clear recommendation. Wethen decide together before any development starts.
  
• Keep product decisions on record. Capture what was discussed and decided across our products,and follow up on open items, so nothing gets lost when priorities shift.
  
• Product marketing groundwork. Help put up early-access and landing pages for new ideas, collectfeedback and interest, and learn the basics of SEO, so we test demand before we build.
  
• Should have completed graduation.
  
• Enough technical understanding to follow how a software product works and talk with developers;no coding required
  
• A basic grasp of finance and accounting: invoices, costs, cost codes and accounts
  
• Clear written English, since you will write for US and Canadian audiences
  
• Critical thinking: you question, compare options and say what you recommend
  
• Good to have any time spent with construction, accounting or ERP software
  
• Some use of Jira, Notion or similar tools

Hands-on Product Management Experience: Gain practical experience working on live software products and understanding how products are researched, planned, developed, and improved.

Direct Mentorship: Work closely with the Product Lead and gain guidance on product strategy, prioritization, decision-making, and execution.

End-to-End Product Exposure: Get exposure to different stages of the product lifecycle, from idea research and validation to feature planning and product marketing.

International Market Exposure: Understand customer needs, industry trends, and software requirements across international markets, particularly the US and Canada.

Industry & Market Research: Develop skills in competitor analysis, market research, customer insights, and identifying new product opportunities.

Practical Tool Experience: Gain hands‑on exposure to tools such as Jira, Notion, AI‑powered research tools, and other product management platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, technology, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable product tasks.

Ownership & Responsibility: Take ownership of assigned tasks, contribute ideas, participate in product discussions, and see how your work contributes to actual business decisions.
