Job summary

Arcesium is seeking a Product Lead for the Financial Data Stack, guiding trade lifecycle and reference data modules across asset classes. You’ll collaborate with engineering, client services, and sales to translate client needs into scalable product decisions and robust specifications, while leveraging AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and development.

The role requires 6+ years overall experience with at least 2 years in product management, plus strong communication skills and familiarity

• Work with domain experts, engineering, client services, and prospect-facing teams to gather requirements and align priorities.
• Research market standards and competitive behavior to inform platform treatment of financial data.
• Evaluate and respond to new asks, translating client requirements into scalable product decisions.
• Identify and present opportunities for new features or product expansion with supporting business cases.
• Build test cases for complex financial data scenarios across asset classes and lifecycle events.
• Use AI tools actively in your workflow for research, analysis, and spec development.

We are looking for a Product Lead to join the Financial Data Stack team, working on transaction and reference data modules that sit at the intersection of Order Management System and the larger operational platform products (Opterra). The role involves work across asset classes, trade lifecycle, and multi-stakeholder environments with exposure to clients and prospect engagements.

What You’ll Do

• Define product specifications for FDS modules covering trade lifecycle, reference data, asset servicing, and OMS-to-accounting workflows.

What You’ll Need

• 6+ years of overall experience; 2+ years in product management.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle across asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and FX.
• Familiarity with reference data, corporate actions, position keeping, and reconciliation.
• Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Experience managing requirements across engineering, operations, and client-facing teams.
• Clear written communication: specifications, release notes, and business cases.
• Firsthand experience with AI tools.
• MBA, CFA, FRM, or similar certification preferred. Basic technical understanding is a plus but not required.
