Job summary

Arcesium is seeking an exceptionally talented Product Lead to join the Product Management Group in our BLR/HYD offices. This role focuses on defining and delivering data-driven, middle- and back-office solutions, working across technology teams to specify, develop, and implement infrastructure and new applications.

The candidate will distill vision into actionable roadmaps, collaborate with engineers, and ensure alignment with business goals while managing timelines and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision for Arcesium's transaction and reference data modules.
• Distill vision into roadmap and feature specifications via requirements gathering.
• Translate product specs to design through close collaboration with engineers/architects.
• Rigorously track progress using test cases and ensure adherence to specs and vision.
• Articulate business cases, timelines, and budgets; prepare project plans and release notes.
• Collaborate with other product managers on cross-area projects to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Product Lead to join the Product Management Group in our BLR/HYD offices. This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure and new middle-and-back-office applications.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the definition of product vision for Arcesium's transaction and reference data modules which offer master data management and asset servicing capabilities for investment management firms
• Distill the vision into product roadmap and product/feature specifications by requirement gathering and business analysis
• Work closely with the engineers/architects to translate the product specification to design, and then to the product itself
• Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight by leveraging the created test cases/beds and ensure compliance to the product/feature specification and the vision
• Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets and communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.
• Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide comprehensive business solutions

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of overall work experience and minimum 2+ years’ experience in Product Management.
• Good understanding of post-trade life cycle in asset management
• Understanding of different financial instruments and their lifecycle is preferred
• Experience in working closely with engineering teams
• Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality
• A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude
• A healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity and execution prowess
