Job summary

Arcesium is seeking an experienced Product Manager for Investor Allocation modules. You will define the product vision, distill requirements, and work with engineers to deliver scalable back-office solutions for hedge funds and institutional managers.

You will conduct market research, prepare ROI analyses, and communicate progress to stakeholders and clients. Prior experience in product management within high-tech finance is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Investor Allocation, including 2+ years in product management.
• Deep subject matter expertise in Investor Allocation for hedge funds and institutional asset managers.
• Knowledge of complex fund structures, multi-currency frameworks and unitization.
• Understanding of diverse fee models and performance-based structures.

• Contribute to product vision for Investor Allocation modules from concept to release.
• Create roadmaps and feature specifications through domain research and requirements gathering.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented resource to join one of our cross-functional product teams for an individual contributor role. The Product Management group partners with technology teams across the product lifecycle to specify, develop, and deliver the firm’s infrastructure and middle- and back-office applications. This position offers the opportunity to define and design the next generation of products in the Investor Accounting and Transfer Agency domain, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world, and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the product vision for Investor Allocation modules and carry features from concept to creation.
• Distill the vision into documents such as product roadmap and feature specifications via deep dives into the domain, gathering requirements, and solutioning.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to translate the product specification to design, and then to the product itself.
• Articulate business cases, ROI analyses, budgets, and timelines; communicate progress and priorities to all stakeholders, including clients.
• Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with Product Managers across product groups on cross-cutting initiatives.

What You'll Need

• 8–12 years of experience in Investor Allocation, including 2+ years in a product management role.
• Deep subject matter expertise in Investor Allocation for hedge funds and institutional asset managers.
• Proven knowledge of complex fund structures (master-feeder, side pockets, hybrid vehicles), multi-currency frameworks, and unitization.
• Strong understanding of diverse fee models — management fees, performance fees, hurdle rates, high-water marks, and tiered fee structures.
• Strong critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic background and a passion for working in a high-tech software development environment.
