Job summary

Arcesium is seeking a senior Product Manager to shape the next generation of financial reporting solutions for hedge funds and other asset managers. You will partner with engineering and controls teams to translate strategy into delivered products, partnering closely with stakeholders across businesses.

The role is based in Hyderabad or Gurgaon, offering the opportunity to influence product direction in a fast-growing fintech environment with a strong emphasis on data, compliance, and execution

Qualifications

• 6+ years overall experience; 2+ years in product management.
• Experience in financial reporting for hedge funds or asset managers.

We are looking for an exceptionally talented individual to join the Product Management Group in our Hyderabad or Gurgaon office. This group is responsible for working with technology teams throughout the process lifecycle to specify, develop, and implement the firms’ infrastructure and new middle-and-back-office applications.

This position offers opportunity to define and design the next generation of products on our platform, which is used by some of the most sophisticated hedge funds in the world; and to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

What you'll do:

• Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for financial reporting solutions aligning with overall company goals and market opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback gathering to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new product opportunities within the financial reporting space.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic value, market demand, and technical feasibility.
• Work closely with the engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design, and then to the product itself
• Rigorously and continuously evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight by leveraging the created test cases/beds and ensure compliance to the product/feature specification and the vision
• Be involved in conducting competitor analysis
• Articulate business cases, estimate timelines and budgets and communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, etc.
• Work with other product managers for projects cutting across multiple business areas to provide comprehensive business solutions

What you'll need:

• 6+ years of overall experience working and minimum 2+ year experience in products management
• Demonstrated experience with financial reporting for hedge funds or other alternative asset managers.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, Fund accounting and regulatory requirements specific to hedge funds.
• Proficiency in Excel along with strong analytical skills to mine counterparty statements
• Experience in working closely with engineering teams
• Outstanding academic background & passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking and the ability to articulate standpoints/ideas and influence stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple lines of execution with attention to detail and quality
• A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude
• A healthy combination of resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity and execution prowess
