JD Product Intern — Post-Order Experience
Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Intern who will own the product experience after a customer has made a purchase. This is a role for someone who believes that the real product experience begins at checkout and that retention, loyalty, and advocacy are built entirely in the post-sale journey.
You will own storefront functionalities from order confirmation through delivery, returns, refunds, and complaints working at the intersection of product, operations, CX and technology to build experiences that turn first-time buyers into lifelong customers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A sharp customer empathy you think from the user's shoes first, and work backward to the solution
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and can break a fuzzy problem into structured hypotheses and experiments
- Can work across functions you won't wait for someone to hand you data, a design, or an answer; you'll go find it
- Communicate with clarity in writing, in decks, and in conversations with engineers, ops teams, and business stakeholders
- Have a bias for speed you'd rather ship a scrappy solution, learn, and iterate than wait for perfect
- Are curious about systems - how does an order actually move from placed to delivered? What breaks and why? You want to know.
- Bonus: You've built something a side project, a tool, a prototype, an experiment that shows you can take an idea from 0 to 1
- You are someone who gets bothered when a product experience feels incomplete. You've placed an order online and instinctively noticed what the confirmation page could have done better or wondered why the refund took 7 days with no update. You care about the details that most people overlook.
