Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Product team in researching customer needs, market trends and competitor products.
• Assist in gathering, documenting and analysing user and business requirements.
• Help create product requirement documents, user stories and process flows.
• Translate requirements into actionable development tasks with Product and Tech teams.
• Support product discovery through customer research, interviews and surveys.
• Analyse product usage and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs.
• Participate in planning and execution of product features, enhancements and experiments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of initiatives.
• Contribute to product presentations, reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Intern to support our Product team in building and improving products that create meaningful customer and business impact.

The role will provide hands-on exposure to product discovery, market research, user requirements, product analysis and execution. You will work closely with Product, Technology, Design and Business teams to help take product ideas from concept to execution.

What You'll Do

• Support the Product team in researching customer needs, market trends and competitor products.
• Assist in gathering, documenting and analysing user and business requirements.
• Help create product requirement documents, user stories, process flows and product documentation.
• Work with Product Managers and Technology teams to translate requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Support product discovery through customer research, interviews, surveys and data analysis.
• Analyse product usage and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs.
• Support the planning and execution of product features, enhancements and experiments.
• Participate in product testing and coordinate with technology teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct competitor and market benchmarking to identify new product opportunities.
• Assist with creating product presentations, reports, dashboards and stakeholder updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of product initiatives.
• Support ad-hoc strategic and analytical projects within the Product function.

What We’ll Need

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Computer Science, Design or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity about technology, products and customer behaviour.
• Good understanding of basic business and product concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organise information effectively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong ownership and willingness to learn.

Good to Have

• Prior internship or project experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, Business Analysis, Consulting or Technology.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and user journeys.
• Exposure to SQL, data analytics or dashboarding tools.
• Experience building products, apps, websites or technology projects as part of academic or personal projects.
• Participation in hackathons, entrepreneurship programs or product-related competitions.
