Job summary

Udhyam is seeking a Product Intern to work with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to help bring AI-powered education products to life. You’ll learn product management by doing—collaborating across teams and contributing to features that reach lakhs of learners across India.

Based in Bengaluru, this hybrid role offers hands-on exposure to user research, requirement documentation and go-to-market planning, with mentors guiding you through real product challenges in a fast-paced NGO

As a Product Intern, you'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers and Program teams to help bring impactful products to life. This is an opportunity to learn product management by doing—working on real product challenges, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, and contributing to products that impact lakhs of students across India.

As a Product Intern, you will:

Be the bridge across teams.

Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Design and Program teams to ensure everyone is aligned on priorities, feature rollouts and timelines. Help keep product initiatives moving by following up on action items and ensuring smooth communication.

Support product launches and communication.

Assist in planning and executing go-to-market (GTM) activities for new features and product releases. Create product communication, release notes, training material and documentation to help internal teams understand and adopt new capabilities.

Champion the needs of our state teams.

Work closely with program teams across different states to understand operational requirements, document feature requests and coordinate with the Product team to evaluate and accommodate changes wherever required.

Turn ideas into well-defined product requirements.

Support in user research, competitive analysis and feature discovery. Help document user stories, write test cases, acceptance criteria and functional specifications for new feature development.

Learn through data and customer feedback.

Analyse product usage, user feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities for product improvements. Participate in customer conversations and usability testing to develop a strong user-centric mindset.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organisation and project coordination skills, with attention to detail.
• Curiosity about how digital products are built and an eagerness to learn product management.
• Structured problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to synthesise information, document requirements clearly and communicate them effectively.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
• Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Jira or similar platforms is a plus.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Design, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant previous experience, internship, campus leadership or project experience demonstrating ownership, collaboration or problem-solving is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An interest in technology, AI, education or social impact.
