Job summary

Brightsun Travel is seeking an experienced Product Executive to own pricing, competitiveness, content, and development of hotel and holiday products for the UK market. You will drive revenue and profitability through market analysis, supplier collaboration, and content accuracy.

You will monitor bookings and margins, develop new products for UK travellers, and coordinate with UK Sales & Marketing to ensure competitive campaigns and up-to-date product information.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Travel Product, Tour Operations, DMC, Contracting, Hotels, or a similar role.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of pricing, margins, and holiday packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and spoken English (8/10 or above).
  • Knowledge of the UK travel market will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage regular hotel and holiday package price updates.
  • Analyse supplier rates, selling prices, margins, and profitability.
  • Identify pricing issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor special offers, promotions, and commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure all products remain accurate, competitive, and commercially viable.
  • Benchmark products against leading UK tour operators and OTAs.
  • Compare pricing, hotels, flights, board basis, baggage, transfers, discounts, and added-value offers.
  • Identify why competitors may be cheaper or offer a stronger product.
  • Prepare clear competitor analysis and recommend actions to improve competitiveness.
  • Research and develop new hotels, holiday packages, and destinations.
  • Identify product gaps and new commercial opportunities.
  • Work with suppliers and Contracting teams to secure competitive rates and offers.
  • Review underperforming products and suggest improvements.
  • Help develop products specifically suited to the UK travel market.
  • Ensure hotels, packages, prices, and offers are correctly loaded and maintained.
  • Write and review hotel descriptions, destination content, package highlights, and USPs.
  • Conduct regular checks of live products and website content.
  • Ensure product information remains accurate throughout its lifecycle.
  • Monitor bookings, revenue, margins, and overall product performance.
  • Identify strong and underperforming hotels, destinations, and holiday packages.
  • Use sales and competitor data to recommend pricing or product changes.
  • Prepare regular reports highlighting key findings, actions, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with UK Sales and Marketing teams on campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure products are competitive and fully price-checked before campaigns go live.
  • Provide Sales teams with product knowledge, USPs, and commercial information.
  • Liaise with hotels, DMCs, and suppliers regarding rates, offers, and product information.

The ideal candidate should have strong commercial and analytical skills and be able to identify pricing gaps, analyse competitor offerings, improve product quality, and contribute to revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Commercial Analysis
