Job summary

Cadence Design Systems is seeking a senior engineer to join the Modus PE team, identifying new features in DFT & ATPG domains and developing product specs for implementation. You will work with R&D and PV teams to validate features, develop methodologies, and documentation to improve usability and tool quality.

Responsibilities include collaborating with field to benchmark customer designs, influencing tool development, and supporting Innovus hierarchical partition tools and timing closure flows

Position Description:

Skill Required: Be a part of the Modus PE team in identifying new features in DFT & ATPG domains and developing product spec for implementation. Work with R&D & PV teams with validation of said features, Development of methodologies, flows and documentation to help improve usability and quality of the tool Collaborate with field to benchmark on customer designs towards successful deployment Work with R&D teams to drive and influence the development of new tools, as well as the modification of existing tools to address the needs of customers and market. Support existing Innovus hierarchical partition tools and top-level timing closure flow. Support benchmarks and solve complex customer hierarchical issues. Educational Qualification: B.E/BTech/ME/MTech. in EE/ECE/CS with 14+ Years of relevant experience. Behavioral skills required: Must possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skills. Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management.
