Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks a development lead with Java, Spring Boot and API orchestration to drive banking product components in BFSI domain. You will own end-to-end design for core components and mentor the team while aligning with product and architectural goals.

You will translate business needs into robust technical solutions, ensure high performance, security and scalability for high-volume banking transactions, and uphold best coding practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Retail/Wholesale Banking knowledge.
• Banking Product Development (Design and Coding) in BFSI domain.
• Willingness to learn new products and pilot innovations independently.
• Good Team management and handling skills.
• Understanding of standard service boundaries in microservices architectures.
• Experience in API first, reusable services mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end to end design and development of critical banking product components.
• Act as a technical anchor for modules within the banking product.
• Translate banking business requirements into product grade technical solutions.
• Balance speed, quality, security, and long term product sustainability.
• Demands decision making, ownership, and product thinking, not task execution alone.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance for high volume transaction systems.
• Handle transaction management, high availability, scalability, reliability for critical banking flows along with concurrency, and data consistency (ACID principles).
• Ensure clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code with strong adherence to coding standards.
• Banking emphasis: real time processing, rollback handling, auditability.
