Jobtailor in Bengaluru, Karnataka seeks a skilled software engineer to analyze requirements, translate designs, and implement scalable business applications using C#/.NET. You will collaborate with QA, product, and cross-functional teams, ensure robust unit testing, and contribute to CI/CD and AI-assisted development practices.

The role covers the full SDLC, including design reviews, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, with opportunities to influence architecture and training

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 3 years of applicable software development experience.
Minimum 2 years of specialized experience in business application or product development.
Strong understanding of software development principles, debugging techniques, coding standards, and lifecycle practices.
Proficiency in C#/.NET development, including knowledge of .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database concepts, and application integration.

Responsibilities

Analyze functional and technical requirements and clarify scope, dependencies, and outcomes.
Translate detailed design specifications into reliable, maintainable, scalable software solutions.
Develop, enhance, and maintain business application features according to approved requirements and coding standards.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to validate completed work and resolve defects.
Participate in the full SDLC including design review, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance.
Provide technical input for internal training materials, development documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Develop or maintain installation scripts, utilities, and supporting programs when required.
Maintain accurate work records and communicate progress, risks, and impediments to stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement through development tools, automation, and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

Ability to use AI-assisted development tools responsibly
Preferred: experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL, Agile or iterative development, enterprise or business management applications, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools
