Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end industrial design from concept to production.
- Develop concepts balancing functionality, usability, aesthetics, and engineering.
- Create 3D models, assemblies and design documentation.
- Design product architecture, packaging and layouts for robotics platforms.
- Develop UI/UX for robotics software and AI-based apps.
- Create prototypes, wireframes and design systems using Figma and tools.
- Collaborate with Embedded, Mechanical, Software teams throughout development.

About the Role
We are looking for an Industrial/Product Designer to lead the design and development of next-generation autonomous robotic platforms, AI-enabled systems, and electric mobility products.
The ideal candidate will own products from concept through production, working closely with embedded, mechanical, software, and management teams. This role requires strong industrial design fundamentals, digital product design capabilities, and the ability to translate ideas into production-ready solutions through cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end industrial design process from concept development to production.
- Develop innovative product concepts balancing functionality, usability, aesthetics, and engineering requirements.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and design documentation.
- Design mechanical layouts, product architecture, and component packaging.
- Develop product styling, form language, and user-centric design solutions.
- Create high-quality visualizations, renders, and presentation material.
- Design intuitive UI/UX experiences for robotics software platforms and AI-based applications.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems using Figma and Claude Design.
- Conduct primary, secondary & tertiary research, design validation, and iterative product refinement.
- Collaborate closely with Embedded, Mechanical, Software, and Management teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready while maintaining the original design intent.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 24 years of relevant product design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating physical product development from concept to production.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent visual communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for robotics, mobility, and emerging technologies.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Willing to commute to Mumbai Central.
- Comfortable with a Work From Office (WFO) environment.
