Job summary

bluCursor Infotech Pvt Ltd in Indore or Gurugram, India, seeks an experienced Industrial Designer to shape premium robotic products from concept to production. You will define Botriq's product identity while balancing aesthetics, usability and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Electronics, AI, Software and Manufacturing teams to translate ideas into CAD models, sketches and photorealistic renderings, driving design reviews and factory-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Design or related field.
• 2+ years in industrial/product design.
• Proven experience taking products from concept to manufacturing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing premium hardware, robotics or consumer electronics products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrial design of next-generation robotic products from concept to production.
• Define and evolve Botriq's industrial design language with innovative concepts and CAD models.
• Design robot enclosures, docking stations, charging systems, accessories and hardware components.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electronics, AI, Software and Manufacturing teams to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Balance aesthetics, ergonomics, functionality, manufacturability, durability and cost with DFx principles.
• Drive prototype development, design validation, usability testing and iterative improvements.
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to transition designs to mass production.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
• Research materials and trends to drive product innovation.

We're looking for an experienced Industrial Designer to design premium robotic products from concept to production while defining Botriq's unique product identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the industrial design of next-generation robotic products from concept to production.
• Define and evolve Botriq's industrial design language while developing innovative concepts, sketches, CAD models and photorealistic renderings.
• Design robot enclosures, docking stations, charging systems, accessories and other hardware components.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electronics, Embedded, AI, Software and Manufacturing teams to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Balance aesthetics, ergonomics, functionality, manufacturability, durability and cost while applying DFM and DFA principles.
• Drive prototype development, design validation, usability testing and iterative improvements.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to transition designs from prototype to mass production.
• Conduct design reviews, resolve engineering challenges and ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
• Research emerging materials, manufacturing technologies and global design trends to drive product innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial/product design.
• Proven experience taking products from concept to manufacturing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing premium hardware, robotics or consumer electronics products.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino 3D, KeyShot and Adobe Creative Suite (Blender is a plus).
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFA, Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, CNC Machining, 3D Printing, Material Selection, GD&T and Tolerance Analysis.
• Experience designing Robotics, Consumer Electronics, Medical Devices, Industrial Equipment, Automotive or Smart Appliances.
• Knowledge of Human-Centered Design (HCD), Ergonomics, CMF (Color, Material & Finish) and Product Usability.
• Experience working with prototype fabrication, supplier/manufacturing partners and production tooling.
• Familiarity with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Service Robots or Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) is a strong advantage.
