Job summary

IDfy is seeking a Product Designer to independently own and drive end-to-end design initiatives, creating high-quality solutions that balance user needs with business goals. The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of proven expertise in Product Design, particularly in B2B contexts, complemented by a strong portfolio.

You will partner with Product Managers and Engineers while leading user research activities to inform design decisions. This role emphasizes collaboration, excellence in design, and the opportunity to mentor junior designers.

Qualifications

• Have proven expertise (4–7 years) in Product Design, specializing in designing complex B2B products and user experiences.
• Have a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to solve complex problems through thoughtful user experience, interaction design, and design thinking methodologies.
• Demonstrate experience in building, scaling, and maintaining design systems for multi-component, multi-platform products.
• Possess advanced proficiency in Figma and a keen interest in leveraging AI‑assisted design workflows to improve efficiency and creativity. (Bonus: Experience with Claude Code or similar AI tools.)
• Have a strong understanding of user research methodologies, usability principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across product, engineering, business, and design teams.

Bonus Points For

• Experience leading end‑to‑end design initiatives for complex enterprise or SaaS products.
• Proven experience with Interaction Design, Motion Design, or Design System Governance.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, fintech ecosystems, compliance‑driven workflows, and KYC/KYB journeys.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and contributing to design team growth.

• Own and drive end‑to‑end design initiatives, independently delivering high‑quality solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Define, evolve, and maintain design principles, interaction patterns, design tokens, and system standards to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to solve complex user problems and create scalable, reusable design solutions.
• Lead user research, usability testing, and discovery activities to uncover insights and validate design decisions.
• Translate ambiguous problem statements into intuitive user experiences through structured thinking, experimentation, and rapid iteration.
• Champion design excellence across the organization by advocating for user‑centred design principles and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior designers through feedback, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to shaping the future of IDfy's design culture, processes, and standards while helping establish design as a strategic function within the organization.
