Job summary

apna in Bengaluru, India (on-site) is seeking a Product Designer I / Associate Product Designer to own end-to-end design for AI-powered products. You’ll translate research into intuitive interfaces, maintain visual consistency, and partner with product and engineering to ship features.

We value AI-first design experience, a strong visual design sensibility, and a compelling portfolio. Proficiency in Figma is required (motion is a plus).

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-powered products.
• Strong visual design sensibility with attention to typography, color, and layout.
• A portfolio (or relevant projects) showing visual/UI work is a must.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end design for products, prioritizing ideas based on research and data points.
• Maintain visual consistency and follow brand guidelines across the product.
• Participate in design critiques, reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
• Drive rapid iteration and shipping of features by leveraging AI tools to accelerate the design process.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Experience shipping products on AI platforms and designing with an AI-first approach.
• Self Aware, grit to learn and grow in career
• Good proficiency in Figma and Figma motion. Anything else is learnable.
• Strong sense of visual design: layout, typography, color, and composition.
• A portfolio (or relevant projects) showcasing visual, branding, or UI work is a must.
