Job summary

Jayanita Exports in India is seeking a mechanical design engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to contribute to material selection, design for manufacturability, and validation of components. The role requires GD&T proficiency, ECN handling, and broad knowledge of manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in design for assembly, VAVE, and ISO documentation, with hands-on capability in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of strength of material and mechanical design.
• Familiar with materials processes such as molding, casting, forging, sheet metal, machining.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
• Experience with VAVE and ECN implementation.
• Knowledge of DF manufacturing and DF assembly design.
• Experience with product validation and testing processes.
• Proficient with problem-solving tools like 7QC, 5 Why Analysis, fishbone diagrams.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
