Job summary

Dover in Bangalore, India seeks a Senior Design Engineer with 7–10 years of experience to lead NPD projects for refrigeration display case doors, design sheet metal parts and weldment assemblies, and drive VAVE initiatives from ideation through savings tracking.

You will manage drawings through EPDM, ensure GD&T and tolerance requirements, apply DFM/DFM principles, conduct FEA simulations, and collaborate with manufacturing on shop floor execution.

Qualifications

Ensure drawings meets GD&T and Tolerance requirements. Ensure design robustness through simulation, structural and thermal validation, and functional testing.* Apply DFM/DFA principles to enhance manufacturability and cost efficiency. Conduct DFMEA and DVPR to arrive a validation plan and ensure design meets specifications. Validate designs through FEA simulation and technical reviews.* Resolve product or manufacturing problems on major product lines individually or as part of a group as job duties require.
