Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Bengaluru is seeking a Product Delivery Lead for Data Distribution and Data Quality to shape scalable data services across MSS. You will partner with DataOps, BAU, Consumer Delivery and Technology teams to define shared services for data quality controls and distribution patterns.

The role requires deep expertise in reference and market data, ability to drive AI-enabled improvements, and strong stakeholder collaboration to quantify benefits and reduce total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in reference and market data processes, including system integration, implementation and adoption design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of front-to-back system and data flows, including the key data domains that support the MSS business.
• Awareness of the wider external environment, including regulatory and political developments, industry trends and emerging innovations.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities to reduce delivery effort and cost through modern delivery methods and AI-enabled approaches, including agentic and non-agentic solutions, while maintaining robust controls, transparency and auditability.
• Experience in artificial intelligence analysis and solution design, particularly semantic modelling, metadata design and knowledge graph development.
• Experience using recognised CASE tools for process, data or systems analysis. Experience of strategic data distribution generic and scalable design.
• Conceptual and Logical data modelling. Functional / Technical story writing. API analysis and design. STP distribution (APIs/Microservices, event patterns where applicable)
• Metadata/Semantic patterns to drive consistency and reuse. Lowering of overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO of adoptions)?

Product Delivery Lead - Data Distribution and Data Quality

In this role, you will:

• Work with DataOps Product Owners, Business as Usual Ops teams (Service Delivery), Consumer Delivery, Business Stakeholders, Strategy & Change as well as Technology teams to define scalable shared services for Data Quality controls and data distribution patterns
• Build strong business cases for proactive Data Quality controls and (Straight through process) STP data distribution that garner support from the relevant stakeholders
• Judiciously priorities initiatives to deliver the best outcomes against investment funding and see projects through to completion in close collaboration with Change and Technology partners.
• Proactively identify opportunities to reduce implementation cost through traditional Business Analyst / Tech methodologies, as well as agentic or non-agentic Artificial Intelligence utilization.
• Consistently drive towards the delivery of business benefits across both, efficiencies and control outcomes and fully align with stakeholders on quantification of committed benefits.
• Build a thorough and documented understanding of the impacts Reference Data Quality has on downstream consumers and work with the consumers to clearly articulate & measure the impact.
• Understand the relationship between (Straight through process) STP data distribution and data quality requirements and ensure data consumer needs are fully reflected in Data Operations plans. Work with Domain-aligned product owners to produce high-quality design proposals
• Proactively and consistently engage with Data Domain leads and Consumers to ensure full alignment of objectives and priorities and foster strong working relationships based on mutual trust and support.
• Contribute to ensure the Data Product team is seen as a thought leader for the design of effective data services, and as delivering tangible improvements for the MSS business.
• Enforce “no band‑aids” principle: root‑cause fixes, ownership, and preventative control design built into delivery. Ensure strong UAT governance: entry/exit criteria, test evidence, signoffs, reconciliation outcomes, defect SLA. DQ validation & monitoring controls.

To be successful you will:

• Deep expertise in reference and market data processes, including system integration, implementation and adoption design. Strong understanding of data requirements within corporate and institutional banking environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of front-to-back system and data flows, including the key data domains that support the Markets and Securities Services (MSS) business.
• Awareness of the wider external environment, including regulatory and political developments, industry trends and emerging innovations.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities to reduce delivery effort and cost through modern delivery methods and AI‑enabled approaches, including agentic and non-agentic solutions, while maintaining robust controls, transparency and auditability.
• Experience in artificial intelligence analysis and solution design, particularly semantic modelling, metadata design and knowledge graph development. Strong business process analysis skills, including the ability to document processes using swim‑lane techniques.
• Experience using recognised computer‑aided software engineering (CASE) tools for process, data or systems analysis. Experience of strategic data distribution generic and scalable design.
