We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support for project delivery and daily operations.
• Oversee production batch processes for daily, monthly, and quarterly operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Apply best practices in technology, release management, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) and Finance Operations teams to deliver effective post-implementation production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable solutions using IBM DataStage, Oracle Database, Unix Shell scripting, and Control-M (workload automation).
• Conduct thorough technical analysis for projects, system changes, and production implementations.
• Translate technical requirements into high-quality deliverables, ensuring a positive user experience and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• A minimum of 8+ years' IT software development experience in DataStage, Oracle, etc.
• Proficiency in IBM DataStage for ETL development, Oracle Database, Unix Shell scripting, and Control-M.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience in root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Ability to create and document functional and technical design solutions.
• Experience in testing and validating data flows to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a range of audiences.
• A collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and team objectives.
• An understanding of finance concepts, such as accounting, is advantageous.
