Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in India invites an experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Director, Data Analytics. You will execute analyses, develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a product or market, document results, and present findings to stakeholders.

You will manage delivery to deadlines, drive benefits through self-initiated projects, and apply advanced analytics, including statistical and machine-learning methods, using cloud platforms

Qualifications

• 2 to 7 years of hands-on analytics experience.
• Experience using PEGA and NBAD.
• Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of data modelling and business intelligence visualisation.
• Ability to interact confidently with senior management and communicate clearly.
• Experience with scripting and Looker dashboard development.
• Scripting knowledge in BigQuery or Python.
• Strong visualisation, dashboarding and storytelling skills.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Experience in the contact centre industry.
• Knowledge of Confluence and Google Cloud Platform for large datasets and data models.

To be successful, you will:

• Have 2 to 7 years of hands‑on analytics experience, solving complex data and business intelligence problems.
• Have experience using PEGA and NBAD.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with business analysis experience or equivalent.
• Have in‑depth knowledge and understanding of data modelling and business intelligence visualisation.
• Be able to interact confidently with senior management and communicate and synthesise information clearly and simply.
• Have experience with scripting and Looker dashboard development.
• Have scripting knowledge in BigQuery or Python.
• Demonstrate strong visualisation, dashboarding and storytelling skills.
• Have advanced Excel knowledge.
• Have experience in the contact centre industry.
• Have knowledge of Confluence and Google Cloud Platform for managing large datasets and designing relational and dimensional data models.
• Python scripting knowledge would be advantageous.
