Job summary

Alstom Transportation Bangalore invites a DevOps professional to streamline CI/CD automation, govern configuration items, and manage containerized apps across diverse environments. You’ll automate infrastructure provisioning and act as the interface for change management in DevOps pipelines and deployments.

You will collaborate with development, QA, validation, and production teams to drive SDLC best practices and modern deployment strategies. Strong scripting and cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, YAML, Bash, and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible and artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
• Preferred experience with Azure Cloud (AKS, VMs, Networking, Storage).
• Nice-to-have skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (development, quality assurance, validation verification, and production teams), design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and govern configuration items across diverse environments, ensuring consistency and traceability, and much more.

Youll specifically take care of automating infrastructure provisioning and managing containerized applications, but also act as the single point of contact for configuration and change management activities related to DevOps pipelines and deployments.
