Job summary

Amber, a long-term accommodation platform, invites a Product Analyst Intern in Pune (India) to join the product analytics team and help measure and improve product performance.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to uncover insights, build dashboards, and evaluate experiments, with mentorship and potential for full-time conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and data querying.
• Understanding of conversion funnels, retention, engagement metrics.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing basics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior and funnel performance to identify drivers and drop-offs.
• Track and evaluate A/B experiments and feature rollouts.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor product KPIs (engagement, retention, adoption).
• Support ad-hoc deep dives to answer product/growth questions.
• Partner with product and data engineering teams to improve event tracking and data quality.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Analyst Intern to support our product analytics function in measuring and improving product performance. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to uncover insights that shape product strategy and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user behavior and funnel performance to identify conversion drivers and drop-offs.
• Track and evaluate A/B experiments and feature rollouts.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor product KPIs (engagement, retention, feature adoption, etc.).
• Support ad-hoc deep dives to answer product and growth-related questions.
• Partner with product and data engineering teams to improve event tracking and data quality.
