Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on open Purchase Orders (POs) regularly.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and procurement issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Vendor Master, Procurement, Engineering teams and suppliers.
• Track transactions using SAP, SAP Ariba, Jiffy and SharePoint; provide updates to stakeholders.
• Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP.
• Review invoice discrepancies related to PO, GR, pricing, and quantities.
• Support ongoing P2P process improvements and day-to-day procurement tasks.

Job Summary We are looking for a Purchase Support Executive with 1-4 years of experience in procurement support and P2P processes. The role involves managing Engineering POs, resolving invoice and payment issues, coordinating with Account payables team and suppliers ensuring timely supplier payments. Strong knowledge of invoice processing, invoice blocking and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on open Purchase Orders (POs) on a regular basis.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and procurement-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Vendor Master, Procurement, Engineering teams, and suppliers to address process gaps and bottlenecks.
• Utilize SAP, SAP Ariba, Jiffy, and SharePoint to track transactions, identify exceptions, and support issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate tracking reports and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Escalate critical issues and drive corrective actions through to closure.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Assist with day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
• Create and manage Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in ERP systems.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain order confirmations, delivery commitments, and shipment updates.
• Coordinate with requestors, warehouse, finance, and vendors to ensure seamless procurement execution.
• Review and resolve invoice discrepancies related to PO, Goods Receipt (GR), pricing, and quantity variances.
• Analyze and clear blocked invoices by working closely with suppliers, procurement, and finance teams.
• Support invoice reconciliation and ensure timely payment processing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile, Production, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing support, or P2P operations. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP Ariba or equivalent.

• Highly proficient in English & able to communicate effectively with stakeholders on routine basis
• Since the role include to support USA, the associate should have the flexibility to work in 2nd shifts that may range from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm (IST), to cover up to 1pm CT (subject to change).

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in purchase order processing and procurement support activities.
• Knowledge of invoice blocking and blocked invoice resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
