Job summary

Accenture is hiring a Procurement Practice Associate Manager in Gurugram, India to lead supplier management, governance, and strategic relationships across IT vendors. You will drive cost efficiency, risk controls, and service delivery in a complex, global environment.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement operations, stakeholder management, and client-facing delivery, with a track record of leading large programs and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Supplier Management or Procurement domain.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholders including senior leadership.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in client facing roles - delivering on scope, budget, resources and delivery schedule.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Operations Management, Project Management or similar domain.
• Minimum 2 years of working with virtual teams.
• Ability to demonstrate 4 skill sets from the above with 1–2 real life scenarios.
• Diploma/ B.E./ B.Tech in E&T/ CS/ IT OR B.Com/ B.Sc/ CA/ CA Intern.
• Good to Have: ITIL Foundation, IACCM, CPSM certifications or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more strategic supplier relationships core to Accenture's offerings.
• Implement automation and CSI initiatives for Cost to Serve benefits and productivity gains.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support deal, client visits, and sales pipeline.
• Design processes for errorless, noise-free delivery per Scope of Work.
• Stakeholder management across external/internal teams and governance.
• Upskill on digital tools like Ariba, SAP, Apex, Coupa, ServiceNow, Power BI.
• Ensure adherence to Accenture policies on anti-corruption and data protection.
• Govern supplier segmentation and performance, with scorecards and reviews.

What are we looking for?

Must Have: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Supplier Management or Procurement domain of which Minimum 3 years of experience working with and influencing multiple stakeholders including senior leadership. Minimum 4 year of experience in client facing roles - directly responsible for delivering on (either two or more areas of) significant pieces of scope, quality, budget, resources, and delivery schedule. Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Operations Management, Project Management or similar domain. Minimum 2 years of experience in working with virtual teams. Candidate should be able to demonstrate good understanding of minimum 4 skill sets from the above and should be able to provide at least 1 to 2 real life scenario(s) and outcome as example(s) of his/ her expertise in all skills sets as below : Supplier segmentation Supplier Performance management & Governance Contract management & compliance Contract Compliance Services Service delivery Proven experience of establishing robust governance framework for IT vendors, managing scorecards and leading business reviews to govern IT vendor delivery. IACCM Ability to lead and innovate in the delivery of operational activities proactively and independently. Technology Management experience. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supplier Assure Associate Manager requires the resource to be responsible for managing one or more strategic supplier relationships - either managed or sub-contractor. These suppliers are typically core to the Accenture Operations internal as well external commercial offerings. Some key responsibilities for the potential candidate including but not limited to are as enlisted below: Understand and develop Supplier Assure based on deals framework Efficiently manage core processes and sub-processes for in-scope deliverables for: Implement Automation and CSI initiatives enabling Cost to Serve (CTS) benefits, productivity gains of 15% or more. Identify upsell opportunity in your deal & support solution, client visit and sales pipeline for Supplier Assure deals. Design processes required for errorless & noise free delivery in terms of Scope of Work. Ensuring best market practice and relevant past experience vital in enhancing current processes External and internal stakeholder management Upskill self on digital platforms & tools like Ariba, SAP, Apex, Coupa, ServiceNow, Power BI, etc. Effective management of attritions with excellent people handling skills. People engagement, development and management with strict adherence to Accenture’s policies on people/ HR as application and in-force. Ensuring strict adherence to Accenture’s Anti-Corruption, Anti-Bribery, Client Data Protection, and other similar regulatory or compliance policies in-force and in accordance with Accenture’s Core Values. Supplier segmentation: differentiating your supply in terms of their influence and the risks they bring is a process. Supplier Performance management & Governance: utilized to assess, evaluate, and monitor a supplier s performance in order to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and promote continuous improvement. Contract management & compliance: improve performance and minimize risk, business procedures that manage the formulation, execution, and compliance of mutually accepted terms are referred to as clause management. Contract Compliance Services: validating invoices 4-way and identifying leaks in terms of overcharging and undercharging. Service delivery: ensuring that client/user service requests are met according to agreed-upon SLA/KPIs and that we are meeting project requirements. SLA Compliance: Manage IT Vendor SLAs and contractual KPIs across critical software and hardware infrastructure Develop, drive and sustain qualitative delivery outputs via continuous improvement in supplier delivery, automation and target-based savings for the project.
