Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Procurement Practice Associate to join the Procurement Operations team. The role focuses on procurement support, processing purchases, and driving value in sourcing.

You will work in a team, handle routine tasks with guidance, and may rotate shifts. Qualifications: graduation, 1–3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Go beyond processing purchase orders to help clients reap savings and value from their spend.
• Work as part of the Procurement management team, handling need finding, supplier qualification, RFIs/RFPs, contracting and delivery analysis.
• Analyze and design best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementation based on understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
• Provide setup and maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user data and procurement applications to ensure efficient transactions and compliance.
• Resolve routine problems using established guidelines; interact with your team and supervisor.
• Be prepared for rotational shifts.

What would you do?

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
• You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing results
• Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes.
• Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures.
• Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance. What are we looking for?
