Job summary

Khimji Jewellers in Odisha invites an experienced procurement and supply chain leader to oversee end-to-end procurement, vendor management, and inventory control. You will lead a team focused on cost optimization and expanding the vendor base while ensuring timely deliveries.

The role requires negotiating contracts, controlling budgets, and ensuring compliance with warehousing, shipping, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Management and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Discretion, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality at all times
• Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
• High level of integrity and ability to recognize and correct mistakes and maintain continuous improvements

Responsibilities

• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Sourcing & engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Building & maintaining long-term relationship with vendors and suppliers.
• Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
• Managing every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency
• Delegate tasks and supervise the work of purchasing and procurement agents across all departments
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution & maintenance operations
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Managing stock control and inventory levels apart from reconciliation on a periodic basis
• Produce retorts and statistics on a regular basis to management (IN/Out status report, dead stock report, etc)
