Job Summary
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing procurement operations for construction projects, hotel operations, pre-opening activities, and corporate purchases. The role involves developing procurement strategies, identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Manage end-to-end procurement for construction, hospitality operations, and corporate requirements.
- Develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Float RFQs/RFPs, evaluate quotations, conduct techno-commercial analysis, and finalize vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and annual rate agreements.
- Ensure timely procurement of Civil, MEP, Interior, FF&E, OS&E, Kitchen Equipment, Engineering items, IT, Furniture, Fixtures, Guest Supplies, and Operational Consumables.
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain a qualified vendor database.
- Conduct vendor evaluation, audits, and performance reviews.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Identify new vendors and alternative sourcing opportunities.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Draft, review, and administer purchase orders, work orders, and supplier contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed SLAs.
Cost Optimization
- Drive value engineering initiatives.
- Perform market benchmarking and price analysis.
- Achieve annual procurement savings without compromising quality.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams for procurement planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials across multiple project locations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure procurement complies with internal policies and statutory regulations.
- Prepare MIS reports, procurement dashboards, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving analyses.
- Support internal and external procurement audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Materials Management is preferred.
Experience
- 8-12 years of procurement experience in Real Estate, Hospitality, Luxury Hotels, Resorts, or Construction.
- Experience in pre-opening hotels and real estate project procurement is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CAPEX and OPEX procurement.
