Job summary

Wipro is hiring a Procurement Leader for a D1/AVP level in Chennai. The role requires leading large, global S2P operations across multiple geographies and client programs, with a focus on governance, cost optimization, and transformation.

The candidate should bring 18+ years in procurement/SS&C, MBA/SCM, and experience managing 500+ FTE teams. Expect shifts to align with a global delivery model and extensive collaboration with CXO stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in BPO, Shared Services, consulting, or procurement operations.
• Minimum 12 years of managerial experience.
• Experience managing large-scale operations with 500+ FTEs.
• Global delivery across multiple geographies: APMEA, Middle East, Europe, NAM, LAM.

Responsibilities

• Drive on-time, high-quality service delivery within SLAs across multiple clients and geographies.
• Oversee end-to-end S2P operations and ensure governance and contractual commitments.
• Lead sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement transformations.
• Engage with CXO-level stakeholders and present transformation roadmaps and business cases.
• Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and process improvements.

Experience

• 18+ years of overall experience in BPO, Shared Services, Consulting, or Procurement Operations.
• Minimum 12 years of managerial experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale operations with 500+ FTEs.
• Experience handling multi-geography delivery teams across APMEA, Middle East, Europe, North America (NAM), and Latin America (LAM).

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA / Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, or related field.
• Exposure to digital procurement solutions and AI-driven sourcing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Operations Management

• Drive on-time, accurate, and high-quality service delivery within agreed SLAs.
• Manage end-to-end S2P operations across multiple clients and geographies.
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and governance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently meeting or exceeding service expectations.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Excellence

• Identify spend optimization opportunities and lead cost reduction initiatives.
• Partner with category management teams to deliver sourcing strategies and procurement transformation programs.
• Drive sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, and procurement operations excellence.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for S2P and Procurement operations.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, including CXO-level leaders.
• Present solutions, transformation roadmaps, business cases, and industry best practices.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Business Growth & Transformation

• Identify opportunities to expand existing business scope and improve current processes.
• Leverage domain expertise and business understanding to create innovative solutions for clients.
• Support business development, solutioning, and transformation initiatives.
• Drive automation and digital transformation across procurement operations.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking

• Ability to develop diagnostic frameworks and leverage data-driven insights.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience driving transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
