Skillventory in Mumbai seeks a Procurement Manager for Marketing and Business Services to lead vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management across marketing agencies, media buys, production, and related services.
You will collaborate with marketing, legal, finance, and operations to optimize spending, manage risks, and drive value through RFQs/RFPs/RFIs and AI-enabled procurement tools.
The Procurement Manager for Marketing and Business Services will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management for a wide range of services. This
role involves close collaboration with internal marketing, legal, finance, and operations teams to identify needs, manage risks, optimize spending, and drive value for the organization.
Support in developing and executing sourcing strategies for marketing services (e.g., agencies, media buys, production, market research, platforms) and other business services (e.g., consulting, travel, professional services). The person shall deal with Media
Agencies, Advertising Creative and Social Media Agencies, Big 4 Consulting Firms KPMG, E&Y etc for Business Services
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and alignment with business needs.
Manage the competitive bidding process, including preparing RFQs (Requests for Quote), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and RFIs (Requests for Information).
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) to secure the best possible value and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with the legal department to ensure all contracts are compliant with regulations and favorable to the company.
Administer, track, and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, including renewals and terminations.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
Track key functional metrics and prepare reports for management regarding savings, performance, and compliance.
Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
Evaluate existing processes and implement changes to streamline workflows and enhance effectiveness.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to internal policies and relevant legal/regulatory requirements.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data analysis abilities.
In‑depth knowledge of procurement principles, contract law, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Proficiency in procurement software/tools and ERP systems COUPA, MS OFFICE EXCEL / POWERPOINT.
Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills.
