Job summary

Alstom in Bangalore is seeking a full-time Procure to Pay Associate 1 to join our finance team. The role focuses on validating and processing invoices, managing payments, and supporting travel and expense processes across departments.

You will work with Sourcing, Supply Chain, and HR teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Procure to Pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience or understanding of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of accounting tools and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with financial processes.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
• Team-playing skills and adherence to guidelines.

• A certification in Accounts Payable.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your meticulous financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our Procure to Pay processes, which are vital to our financial operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Sourcing, Supply Chain, HR), managing payables, disbursements, and travel and expense processes, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of validating and processing invoices, managing payment schedules, and handling employee expense claims, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensuring high-quality video coding and consistently meeting turnaround times (TAT)
• Accurate and timely processing of transactions
• Adherence to internal controls and policies
• Effective communication with both internal teams and external partners
• Active participation in root cause analysis for issue resolution
• Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
• Supporting the team in achieving financial accuracy and compliance
• Adhering to set processes and SOPs in the day-to-day execution of tasks
• Performing root cause analysis on critical issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions
