Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a warehouse associate to sort outbound packages, palletise, and stage orders in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will operate RF scanners, lift pallets, and ensure accurate packing documentation while maintaining safety and efficiency. The role requires teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Onsite with varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sort outbound packages and scan cartons to selected pallets/destinations.
• Stack cartons safely on pallets to avoid damage in transit.

• Wrap and secure outbound pallets for transport.
• Prepare packing lists and routing documents for the Routing team.
• Load pallets with sit-down or stand-up lift trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety practices.
• Assist in training or guiding coworkers as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Role

This position is responsible for sorting all outbound packages, palletising shipping cartons to their assigned destination, and staging Pack and Hold orders. Outbound packages can include small parcel, LTL shipments, and full trailer load shipments. The role operates within a warehouse environment and includes preparing outbound shipping documentation and handing it to the Routing team for accurate and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull cartons from conveyor fingers, ensuring each shipping carton is scanned to a predetermined pallet or destination location.
• Stack cartons on pallets safely to prevent damage while in transit to customers.
• Use an RF device to scan cartons to a pallet identification destination (PID).
• Wrap outbound pallets to ensure containers are secure during transportation.
• Prepare outbound shipping documentation, including packing lists, and hand it off to the Routing team for accurate and timely processing.
• Scan pallets and PIDs to a Pack and Hold location.
• Load pallets using a sit-down or stand-up lift truck.
• Conduct all tasks in accordance with satisfactory safety practices and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Lead or train employees in adequate standards of work as designated by management, when required.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated adherence to scheduled work hours with punctuality and timeliness.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring the integrity of documentation and order preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent processes.
• Ability to carry out assigned tasks with little or no supervision.
• Basic computer skills, including warehouse data entry systems and Microsoft Office products.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb, stoop, bend, carry, and manually wrap and package golf-related products.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work various shifts and/or extended hours as necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ months of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or a closely related field.
